From November 20 to December 18 in Qatar, there will be matches for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022. The competition will be played for the first time in the Arab globe in its 22nd edition. It will be performed during a shorter 29-day period.
At Al Bayt Stadium in Al Khor, the opening match was between Qatar and Ecuador. Qatar fell 2-0 in its first-ever World Cup match, becoming the first host nation to drop its first game. The final will take place on December 18, 2022, which also happens to be Qatar's National Day.
